Irene Dahl Art contains works of art in different medias, including egg tempera, acids, and oil on copper. 

My work was shown in three Spokane Galleries, a gallery in Arkansas and several juried shows and has won several awards.  My work has also been shown at the International Art Fair in New York, 2009.

In February  2006 one of my paintings was shown in a National Juried Show in Virginia, and in May two of my paintings are in the Peninsula Juried Show in Gig Harbor.

Artist's Statement:

"Form is the outer expression of inner meaning." (Wassily Kandinsky) 

The brilliance of life and transformation, aging and change is what Irene Dahl wants to show with her newest work on copper-plates which have to go through an extensive aging process and then are installed on wood - cradle and painted with metallic oil colours. The painting process is for Irene like a meditation and she wants to create quiet and pleasing art that inspires the viewer to meditate too.
